Winemaker Notes
Clerico is one of the most respected names in Barolo, and Domenico Clerico's wines are renowned for both high quality winemaking and for exceptional regional character.
From a south-east exposure vineyard in Ginestra cru, this opulent Barolo, with notes of jam, blueberries and eucalyptus. Great wine to drink now or within the next 15 years.

Critical Acclaim

This is class with rose petal, blueberries and blackberries on the nose. Full body, with solid core of fruit yet balanced and so very long. Seamless tannins. Superb. -- Rated 95 points James Suckling

The core of black cherry and licorice is surrounded by spicy oak in this modern-styled Barolo. Firm and fresh, featuring ample fruit to match the structure. The lingering aftertaste of mineral and berry catches a wave of acidity. Best from 2017 through 2038. -- Rated 93 points Wine Spectator
