Winemaker:Michel DigioiaMichel Digioia took over the vineyards from his mother-in-law in 1999. It was his wife's grandparents who established the domaine in Chambolle-Musigny in the 1930s, and today it remains a tiny, family run enterprise with only 4 hectares of vines - producing a portfolio of just 5 wines. Since Michel took over he has been turning heads in the wine world, producing delicate and elegant wines that far outperform their price tag."This Burgundy really benefits from decanting. The nose is heady with soft red berry fruits, warming spice, smoke and a hint of something almost savoury. This continues on to the palate where the acidity and bold tannins give this wine a wonderful structure, and the flavours linger for a very long finish. It is developing nicely - but you can cellar this for many years to come" - Sophie Lord, Wine Buyer.
