"Pouilly-Fuissé is truly the prince of the Mâconnais vineyard and delivers the best of what our terroir has to offer. Our Pouilly-Fuissé comes from the vines in the lieu-dit “Clos de Monsieur Noly” which used to belong to the famous poem writer Alphonse de Lamartine. Since the 2020 harvest “Clos de Monsieur Noly” received the “Premier Cru” distinction.
This wine is all about finesse. The rocky soils allow an harmonious development of the characteristics aromas of Chardonnay. Golden in colour, it will charm you with it’s fruitiness, structure and long finish. Pleasant to drink during its youth, it can be forgotten in your cellar several years where it will develop hints of hazelnut and grilled almonds.
To fully express all it has to offer, serve it between 12 and 14°C. It is a great match for shellfishes, calf sweetbread, roasted white fishes or scallops. "
